About Us
Ralph “Abe” Meline
Abe’s journey began in 1990 with a mission to solve a challenge every serious elk hunter faces—the need for truly natural-sounding calls. What started as a personal quest in the field evolved into four patented designs, each engineered to produce authentic elk sounds that deliver real results.
For Abe, hunting is more than a passion—it’s a way of life. With decades of experience, he has dedicated himself to helping fellow hunters refine their calling skills and find greater success in the field. Every season, Abe continues the tradition, hunting and calling elk alongside his son, Tony.
A proud American, Abe is deeply committed to quality, integrity, and craftsmanship. Every call bearing his name is proudly made in the U.S.A.—no exceptions.
Passing the Torch
When Ralph “Abe” Meline decided to pass the torch, brother-and-sister duo Marty and Wendy Hallam stepped in to carry forward the legacy. Raised in Seeley Lake, Montana, hunting was never just a pastime—it was a way of life. With Abe’s guidance and decades of proven craftsmanship behind them, Marty and Wendy continue to produce high-performance, USA-made elk calls, honoring Abe’s tradition while bringing fresh energy and innovation for the next generation of hunters.
Now leading Abe and Son, Marty and Wendy are joined by Marty’s son, Braden, an avid outdoorsman representing the next generation of Hallam hunters. Braden brings fresh perspective while honoring the traditions and craftsmanship that built the brand.
Our Mission
To build 100% USA-made elk calls as small business owners, crafting products we trust in our own packs—built with American materials, tested in the field, and designed to help hunters connect with elk more authentically.
