About Us
Ralph "Abe" Meline
Abe’s journey began in 1990 with a mission to solve a challenge every serious elk hunter faces—the need for truly natural-sounding calls. What started as a personal quest in the field evolved into four patented designs, each crafted to produce authentic elk sounds that deliver real results. For Abe, hunting is more than a passion; it’s a way of life. With decades of experience, he has dedicated himself to helping fellow hunters improve their skills. Every season, Abe continues the tradition, hunting and calling elk alongside his son, Tony.
A proud American, Abe is committed to quality and craftsmanship. Every call bearing his name is proudly made in the U.S.A.—no exceptions.
Brother and Sister Duo
When Ralph decided to pass the torch of Abe and Son, brother-and-sister duo Marty and Wendy Hallam saw a perfect opportunity to continue a legacy that truly felt like home. Raised in Seeley Lake, Montana, hunting was never just a hobby—it was a way of life. From a young age, Marty and Wendy were immersed in the outdoors, pursuing deer, bear, and especially elk—their favorite quarry.
Today, Marty and Wendy lead Abe and Son with the same lifelong passion. Joining them is Marty’s son, Braden, an avid outdoorsman and the next generation of Hallam hunters, bringing fresh energy and deep respect for the craft. Together, they are dedicated to producing high-performance elk calls that help hunters sound more realistic, attract more responses, and achieve greater success in the field.
Built by hunters, for hunters—this is elk calling done right.
